USES

Most external analgesics are traditionally formulated with methyl salicylate, and more recently with capsaicin or other salicylates. Most act as "counter-irritants" which, when applied on the spot where it hurts, stimulate the cutaneous sensory receptors causing an inflammation or irritation of the skin. This hot, sometimes painful, burning sensation temporarily counters the original pain. Side effects of these "counter irritants" can be redness of the skin, blisters, or even burns when over used or improperly used.

Tip #1: Range Of Motion
Have patient use KOOL 'N FIT before leaving home to give it adequate time to activate. You'll feel the difference if patient forgets to apply it!

Tip #2: Spray and Stretch
After applying KOOL 'N FIT to skin, wait at least five minutes. This gives it time to relax the muscles and vaso-dialate blood vessels. Then start therapy.

Tip #3: Whirlpools
Add KOOL 'N FIT to whirlpools and water therapies to make the treatment more comfortable for the patient.

Tip #4: Post Therapy
Send your patients home with a bottle of KOOL 'N FIT to comfort soreness and other post therapy symptoms.

Tip #5: At-home Use
Suggest your patients use it at home after applying ice or heat packs, and for pain control.
